X-Mid Pro 2 Generations

First X-mid 2p Pro was announced in 2021 and released in 2022. This was Dan Durston’s first DCF tent based on the successful X-mid SilPoly family. Regular X-mids have gone series of updates over the years and now with the second batch of X-mid 2p Pro coming up, there are a few updates to the original 2p Pro based on user feedback.

Features

Updates

  • 0.5oz lighter (now 19.9oz). 2023 second batch is 19.6oz

  • Dual interior pockets

  • Replaces shockcord at the doors with static cord + tensioners for increased performance in high winds

  • Adds "condensation gutters" so all condensation will definitely drain to the mesh vents.

  • Stronger magnets for the door closures

  • L-zip instead of J-zip. New superlight zippers don’t come as curved version.

  • Upgraded Dyneema core guylines
